As the Director of the University Career Center, I am deeply passionate about empowering students through higher education and career development support. I have had the privilege of working with institutions such as the University of California system and the University of Michigan's Alumni Association, where I served the 650,000-strong alumni community. This experience has allowed me to gain valuable insights into the diverse needs and aspirations of students and alumni alike. I earned a master's degree in higher education from the School of Education in 2010. In addition, I also hold certifications in both the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0. On a personal note, I hail from South Africa, a background that contributed to my commitment to diversity and inclusivity in higher education, in particular how career development and higher education integration can really change lives.
