As an Assistant Director, I am passionate about connecting with both undergrad and graduate students and helping them express their skills and passions for their career paths. I enjoy coaching students one-on-one and facilitating workshops and events, supporting them to grow as future trailblazers.
I aim to create a fair, supportive career development experience for all students through staff training, meaningful conversations, and examining policies. Students energize me daily. As a former first-generation college student, I love motivating students on their career journeys. My favorite part as a career coach is witnessing students' aha moments.
I hold a Master's in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and a Special Education and Teaching degree from Western Michigan University. GO BRONCOS! Before Michigan, I worked as an Educational Leadership Consultant in Fraternity and Sorority Life and Housing. I am part of the Latinx community and hail from Brooklyn, MI.
